I never like to see Moors not win but I must admit I cracked a grin when Guiseley equalised to send York down.

Probably the least disappointing last-minute equaliser imaginable. On a more cynical note still, Guiseley are very much part of that group of teams we would aspire to finish above next season.

Last minute equaliser is always a great blow , but on a " positive" note , York are deservedly relegated , Imo !...
Gary Mills ( York manager ) also has to revisit Tamworth FC .
At least Moors did not loose .
Hope you all enjoyed a great day out - especially " well done " , for those who went there in fancy dress.
😊

Great day out!
On pitch at the end celebrating with Guiseley fans
Before that Liam and all the players shook hands with the Moors fans, thanking us for our support
And then Liam came on the bus and gave a little speech!

Re: Guiseley v Solihull Moors 29/04/2017 updates and commentary
Was a strange game -moors seemed to play with great freedom and could have scored 4 or 5. Guiseley hardly seemed like a team battling for their lives and were very lucky to grab the draw.
However from our point of view, I was pleased for them to get it to send York down as a bigger club whilst I think you can safely assume Guiseley will be fighting for their lives again next year. Was also nice to be there to celebrate on the pitch to celebrate both clubs staying up.
