Re: Transfer rumours and news.....
Moan moan moan
Guys, it's May. And correct me if I'm wrong, but most players are on contracts which expire at this time of year. There are always ins and outs. So we've had a few outs. And they were regular players. But to be fair, they didn't set the league on fire did they?
Perhaps we should see what the replacements are like before we start buying season tickets for other clubs? It's over two months before our next competitive game!

Re: Transfer rumours and news.....
Good points Nick and Rolling
Liam is in control of his releases and appointments and we need to wait to see who comes in before we judge and more importantly how we start on the pitch. We achieved more than any of us really expected last season. The ground has had massive improvements and that expenditure doesn't need to spent this season so hopefully with realses of Northern Conference standard players on high wages and the money Liam will be supported to bring in experience and quality we need to continue to improve on the pitch.

Re: Transfer rumours and news.....
I have Double Locked my football tickets. It's fashionable to do so, double not triple of course. This is whilst I can still afford to spend with my projected diminishing pension.
Blues £195 on the Kop
Moors £105 (with luck with access to a toilet).
£300 potentially gives me access to 46 matches (or choice of matches).
Shown some faith in both teams.
Now all I have to decide is whether to buy food or fuel this winter.

Re: Transfer rumours and news.....
I agree with Windy Miller's comments.
We just have to be patient and wait for the re-signings and new signings news as Liam and Jed will be working hard on them and we will be told when they happen but that could take a while.

After this election you may have to re consider the double lock ticket as I don't know whether it'll be around in the 2023 season. You may have to pull up the floorboards to burn in place of any fuel allowance and as for your support, Moors or Blues may borrow against the equity of your home in order to pay for your support...

Re: Transfer rumours and news.....
With any luck, and if quick enough, I can move to the EU where warmth is less problematic. I'm thinking maybe a Baltic State where society itself will be warmer.
Or Scotland if Nicola can get that referendum sorted out and won.

Re: Transfer rumours and news.....
The whole Ryan Beswick saga has been a right mess and the club ARE aware of it. It was hoped to do a special presentation at the Awards Night to recognise his services to the club. However, Bes was on holiday and could not attend the evening.
The club cannot turn back time and change the way the situation was handled. Lesson learnt and we move on.
All the best to Ryan and thank you for the memories. The last of the players to still be with the club from the pre-Marcus era. With the likes of Bes at Nuneaton, Knightsy at Tamworth, Notts at Salford and the number of former Solihull players at Brackley, I hope at least one of them can win the National North next season
