Id say Jack Duggan is a more realistic target than Scarr.
I guess we could always play Green, Kettle at CB and that Lavery guy at RB or Bedzi.
I'm sure Duggan signed a new contract at Stourbridge a few weeks ago. It doesn't look like Scarr will be getting near the first team anytime soon, so I think a loan would suit him. I'd imaging a league 2 team would be after him though.

Re: Liam Daly - SKIPPER GONE !!
Great deal for Dales, well deserved, but gutted nonetheless.
I have no idea what's happening with the Moors anymore, a Board and a manager, who hide from the supporters, do not share their plans, if they have any, and are building for Conference North.
Nick says £200k was spent on the ground, my guess is that was covered by the sale of Asante, Osbourne and the sell on from Bogle. None of which has been disclosed despite requests.
Today it dawned on me that this club is tinpot, after 6 years of the Moors I'm returning to St Andrews, season ticket purchased this afternoon.
Will return when we are playing Conference North which matches the club's ability and attitude. McDonald has certainly been promoted to his level of incompetence.
Don't like looking back but for the need to strengthen....Marcus remains out of work

Not LM fault if he doesn't have the budget.

We can go round and round in circles forever, agreeing with each other about how money is tight at the club and you can't blame a player for taking a better offer. It still doesn't explain why we didn't have our captain tied down to a formal contract!

Re: Liam Daly - SKIPPER GONE !!
The foolishness of spending money on the ground when the club has clearly lacked the ambition to build a team worth playing there is what is getting my goat. North Ferriby's attitude towards their promotion should have been the model we followed if we are going to be a Stourbridge in Blue and Yellow.
Well done Liam for your elevation to full time player. Hope it goes well for you, and thanks for being a Moor and the heart of the team.
At lest the dwindling crowds will make it easier to find a seat behind the goal if I decide it's worth coming to a home match when Blues aren't playing.

You lot all deluded by the 'Redknapp revolution' at St Andrews.
Keep backing the Moors

Re: Liam Daly - SKIPPER GONE !!
Agreed....
Football is a passion in your heart that controls your head,, why we love it. But Blues with Dirty Harry could only hope to build toward a Gary Rowett Blues. So that's 8-15th next season. And Villa, have spunked a few quid and some, with an owner that has ambitions of making Villa "one of the top clubs i. Europe in 5 years"
I would rest my case there but...
I started to favour the Moors down to the fact that it's a financial circus up there. Corporate, profligate and dillusional. Alienating and as long as you buy their product, their share price can hold until they either have a winner or can cash their chips in and move on elsewhere to the next pony show.
We love football and let's back the Moors... whichever way it seems to be tilting ....
Daly is a loss, no doubt
But if Villa fans are rushing to see John Terry lead Villa to promotion (it's a maybe) and then suffer again with a decade or more where 6th place is amazing and less attainable than when it was achieved, but more likely relegation dogfights then fair play...
If Blues fans think Dirty Harry is going to lead the Blues to 'glory' and the new Chinese Conglomerate (who seem even more opportunistic and shady than Xia) will help, then good luck too.
More realistically, Blues will stay up, Villa may go up, Moors need our support.

Re: Liam Daly - SKIPPER GONE !!
Shame to have lost Liam but disagree that LM doesn't have the budget as I bet he is paying Carter double what he was paying Dales.
LM and Simon Hawker are dealing with all the transfers and Omari was a great loss also. I believe Baxter would of come back and Regan was close also but communication broke down.
I spoke to Omari on Facebook he only wanted a small increase and would of stayed but was told no increase was available. He was prepared to miss out on league football opportunities for another season to try and get his local side up.
Plenty of players have left so surely the combined wages could of kept some key players with us.
Roll on a takeover by a said local business man that wants the club to progress further into league football. This club has worked hard to get to where we are and it would be a shame if a few decide to not step aside and let experienced people take us forward. If we don't move on we will soon drop down the rankings like Hyde, York to name a few
