Solihull Moors 1 Burton Albion 2
A good workout for the lads tonight, we held our own in the first half and weren't outclassed by a Burton team of mainly fringe players.
The second half brought more first team players for Burton and we were pinned back for much of the game, although we did push them at times and by the end it was virtually Burton's first team and although we pulled back an equaliser after Burton had opened the scoring, in the end they were too strong and scored a second to take the victory.
We played some good football throughout and the signs are there for holding our own in our league, still optimistic!

Enjoyed the game , shame about the attendance some good stuff played by both sides. Benbows goal worth the entrance alone. A lot happier seeing how hard we worked.
The performance was as good as the Walsall game , we look like a side who will be hard to beat and can score goal or two.

Glad Benbow got a game and scored a goal. I'd been hearing from people who had seen Stourbridge a lot last year that he might be a bit too sluggish to make the same impression at our level. Perhaps he won't be able to self-craft the same number of opportunities, but it's always good to have a proven finisher.

Saw enough last night we'll be okay next season. We've still got a number of players yet to get involved.
I can't wait for Hylton to tear this league up, this lad looks class!
Attendance is always going to be poor, especially at the prices. The 650 on Saturday was including about 500 Walsall, so I hear.
