You haven't been unfair Clive you've just quoted statistics which if thats the way you look at things you can't argue with,and bring some sense to the debate.But posts like "Macdonald Out"I feel are unfair at this stage,but what I am saying is everyone get behind the manager he needs our support so together we can turn those statistics around and start moving up the league.

I actually agree with you, fatharry, my postings have been me playing Devil's advocate. I can't deny that I am worried whether or not LMcD can get us out of the situation we are in but reality must be of paramount importance. Too many people post rumour and opinionated bollocks on here and I am just attempting to bring some reality to our situation. Whilst I may question LMcD's selection and tactics, I cannot be accused of not supporting the team that is selected. I truly wish Liam to be successful but that does not mean I am not concerned with his selections or his tactics, or the lack of a plan B.

I don't understand why people feel the need to have blind loyalty to McDonald, he is owed nothing! He's had a golden opportunity at a higher level, the opportunity to bring his own players in and after 30 odd games he's given us bottom of the table results with a aimless long punt brand of football.

I haven't seen enough of Moors this season to enter into the debate with any real authority, so Ojive's stats are the currency I can use as backup. It's a poor record, getting worse. I think it may be getting close to the time when a dreaded vote of confidence is in order.

I recall me saying that we played well against Halifax. We dominated possession had more shots etc that's a fact but you didn't want to no about that and said how bad we were etc
You can't use facts when you want and not when it's a positive. It was a fact we stayed up. I don't care about point ratios because every game we play bar maybe 5 we should lose on paper and that's reality. Do moan for the sake of moaning.

I have certain amount of sympathy for Liam , as on most occasions, the Referee is not exactly neutral e.g so biased for the opposition, when we played Barrow and Halifax !!.
Do not think sacking is the right decision , until we see , how Moors have performed, up to and including Aldershot , on 02/09/2017.
Torquay, Tranmere and Aldershot are very challenging matches, to win.

If we continue to get less than a point a game we will get relegated. That is a fact. Whether or not we played well is opinion as is whether or not we were inept. We staved off relegation, a fact I cannot deny, and never have, however our points ratio, which you dismiss is fact and it has been in decline over the 31 games that LMcD has been in charge. That is also a fact.

Its not blind loyalty Swifty76 its common sense to give Liam time to see what he can do with his newly formed squad they are just starting to find their feet. None of us know for certain yet if they will be good enough or not,but there are good players who are yet to feature which are hopefully not far away,your not giving the guy a chance after 4 games with a new squad,especially after keeping us up last season.I like everyone else want to do a lot better this season but your not going to get the best out of the team and manager with the posts you put on here we need to be positive not negative.All we need is 2 wins and we are back in the mix,and don't forget we have a game in hand as well.Come on Swifty I want to hear you singing not moaning!

Is the problem McDonald or the Board who employed him and then supposedly instructed him to work on a considerably reduced budget, of which there is absolutely no evidence because there is no transparency or supporter communication ?
I believe McD was a ridiculous, uninspired, weak appointment, don't like how he has undone Marcus work with uniting fans, directors, staff and players to give us a proper club spirit, his football philosophy is bewildering, he has no plan b and he will be ultimately regarded as a failure.
BUT offered an opportunity like this no way was he going to decline and a perfect appointment for the Board who want to be back playing Conf North football again, which is where their ambitions and the finances indicate should be.
