Re: Just Got Back vs Flyde

Totally agree with most of the comments about the game.
A few things which I’m worried about and maybe we wished for and don’t look like they are working out.
1st thing, nothing has changed since the old management has gone but clearly the new set up is paid a lot more and doing potentially less interms of results. We was always in most of the games under LM now we have got beaten a few times comfortably to easily.
We have a much stronger side aswel with Hylton and Asante in it and still poor performances.

I listened to RM interview about having an hour a week to train the players but from what the players are saying they are more full time doing 3/4 times a week?
Managers need to be honest.
I listened to RM interview after the game and didn’t get his choice of words. they are not the best team in this league and I will put my house on the fact they don’t finish in the playoffs. I’m giving up hope as he seems very negative and surly the players want a manager to be positive. The team and club look like they are going backwards.
We talk about players not being good enough but who are they??

Probably the most ridiculous post I’ve ever read! “We talk about players who aren’t good enough, who are they?”......ALL OF THEM!

Richard Money is a very experienced coach and manager, very well respected in the game. He has inherited possibly the worst and most unprofessional group of players imaginable. They were brought in by possibly the most ridiculous buffoon ever to claim himself a football manager in Liam McDonald, a Sunday league orange peeler.

Now most of the dross that chuckle brother McDonald left behind seemed to have liked him because he mirrored them, useless, unprofessional and thick! Money doesn’t want these characteristics in a team because he’s a winner and wants more professionalism.

Money needs a complete mid season clearout...Daly, Murombedzi, Carter, Carline...just the whole flaming lot of em! It’s just a pity we didn’t rid that dog s**t McDonald in the summer and got Money in. Had we of done that, we’d be mid table now looking upwards.

Just listened to the interview and it is certainly different to the usual cliches you get from managers. I’m surprised about the praise he heaped on Flyde as they are clearly a good side with lots of experienced pros but wouldn’t say they are near the best in the league. I quite like that he is realistic, knows what we are without the thoughts of grandeur that some people have and if we do go down, will hopefully leave us in a position to consolidate next season rather than in a bit of a mess.

I’d say the same about your post. Just because RM is experienced that don’t mean anything. He’s made one permanent signing a player from step 3 like LM did. He’s working to a budget which is obvs better than previous management.

Look at performances we haven’t improved one bit and if you think so then your mistaken.

Get rid of all the players?? What planet are you on??

We lost loads to brackley when we got promoted as we can’t keep these players who have bigger offers.

Daly? Wasn’t you happy and annoyed when he left?? Change of tune.

Carter has been poor but again we all was delighted at him joining the club.

Kristian green who I think is one of the best players and passionate players I’ve seen in a Moors shirt.

Dapo one of the best young strikers in the division possibly.

Carline played for England c and only Omar has don’t that for this club

Shep is a good footballer aswel

I think your getting carried away. I get you like RM but don’t now blame others for results as last week it was the same team.

We stayed up last season when we shouldn’t so you should show respect as I do for a manager that helped the football club achieve what we achieved last season.

A clear out?? Will that keep us up?? Shall we over spend as that’s what we will have to do.

Typical fan talking rubbish. If we only have money to sign lower level players then we just get rid of ours for more lower level players.
Talk some sense.

So Carline played for England C should that mean he should play everyweek? He has been
utter garbage this season, can not beat a player, cant tackle, cant run faster than my
nan, and does not look interested. Past performances do not guarantee a place in the team.

Re: Just Got Back vs Flyde

Sorry lads - Dont agree. We have some good players here. At the moment they are not firing. Probably due to us not having had the same team or anything similar for any two consecutive matches - plus of course almost zero confidence. Unfortunalty time is running out fast.

Carter is a classy player but we are too reliant on him and if he gets tightly marked we struggle.

Sammons and Hylton are still playing their way back after injury. Martin looked a half decent player when he came on and the lad from Norwich comes with a good reputation. Dappo was in and out of the game and Asante didnt look that interested. Maybe he isnt fit.

We need:-
- a combative midfielder to play in front of the back 4 to provide extra defensive cover or alongside Carter and Sammons.

- need to re-think our defence. Opposition teams dont seem to create many chances, but when they do they invariably seem to score. By comparison the Fyldes defence looked rock solid. The bald beardy bloke at the back won everything in the air and not a lot got past him.

- And maybe (like the Fyldes Bald beardy bloke) we need a big intimidating player to be in the refs ear from start to finish. He was there in the refs face when every key decision was made.

You cant legislate for crap referees and we seem to have had lots of them. Yesterdays was desparately poor. The Fyldes could and should have been down to 9 yesterday. GK handball outside the box to deny a clear goal scoring opportunity and the two footed lunge on Carter from behind in the first half. They manhandled and held our players shirts from start to finish, but i think that it was one yellow a piece.

Think maybe pulling of shirts can be seen better on a white or light colour shirt. Maybe there is a case for going back to the old kit. Think the new shirt is depressingly dark anyway.

Still havent a clue why our goal was ruled out.

Dont know what we are doing to upset refs. Are we asking them to change in the car park or something.

If Kristian Green is one of the most passionate moors players you have ever seen you clearly haven’t been around here for very long. Even when we were struggling in the North in the Faulkner and early Bignot days I could watch them and know whatever the result the lads were giving 100%. With this current crop there have been games this season where not even 1 player seems interested. I totally understand them being low on confidence but if they won’t try they won’t succeed. McDonald was a clown and some of the players we are laboured with show that but at the end of the day Money has to work with what he has and he needs to inspire them rather than criticise them openly if we are to get out of this mess. There are still some positives to build on and time to turn turn this around but it needs to start now. If Money doesn’t believe some of them are good enough he needs to make them believe that they are as everyone knows our budget does not allow for a mass exodus and new squad. Yesterday’s performance was poor but the lads need to put it in the past and continue grafting otherwise we will be down by Christmas. Let’s hope that they can prove us wrong it is not time to abandon ship yet.

Mcdonnald and fellow administrators has left us in a real mess.

Mr Money hasnt been here very long and has a short period of time to sort this out. However, sure that he has the stature and credentials to do that.

Easy to get downbeat and to focus on the negatives, but that certainly doesnt help.

Keep the faith and we will see where we are by christmas. If we are still at the bottom by christmas then we will have to take stock of the players that we have and start preparing for Conf North next year. That will need another rebuild.

Puzzled by how we went from heroes away to zeros at home in just a few days.
Easy to criticize the players, but was it just a bit of fatigue or Eastleigh so bad and Fylde so good? I'm not sure the players really understand what's required of them. There is a changed 11 out there every time.
Fylde had Rowe. Moors had Asante. Fylde were quicker to the ball. Moors were ragged at times.
The crowd was also disappointing. From 2600 against Hartlepool to under 700 against Fylde. Looking at the results from the Midland League, the 9th tier of English football, Bromsgrove Sporting had a crowd of over 900 for the match against Rugby.

Your right need to keep the positives, when a new manager comes in you just expect an upturn in results.
I’ve spoken to Birchy a few weeks ago and mentioned LM he spoke very highly of him and thought he’d go on and become a good manager. He felt it was mistakes And injuries to key players cost him.
Kieth has been with us for 12 months now and do we change coaches to get more out of players? Just a question.
