Oh i knew the very minute we kicked off this season when that team ran out minus our best players from the previous season and the lack of experienced signings which Mcdonald and the board had promised to establish ourselves in this league.

Re: Chester v Moors 09/12/2017updates
Many of us who expressed our negative views on the team and the manager over the last few months were shouted down. Where are the naysayers now? Where are all those people demanding more time for LMcD? Oh yes, some of them are already calling out Mark Yates after 3 or 4 games. The truth is that for whatever reasons, Liam McDonald, who I heard with my own ears say he wouldn't dismantle a successful side, proceeded to do exactly that. He may have been following orders, no excuse in my opinion, but the chaotic stripping out of the best players for mostly inferior replacements was nothing short of what in the business world would be called asset stripping - only we got no cash for those assets!

Re: Chester v Moors 09/12/2017updates
I’m sure McDonald would admit he made mistakes but not sure you can blame him for the loss of experience, since the majority of the title winning team didn’t appear to want to play in the conference and appeared to leave gradually of their own accord. Whether he thought that all the young loan signings were the answer or if this was his only option I’m not sure but you would like to think that someone at the club is preparing for next season back in the North (probably) and looking at local semi pro players we will need to stabilise again.

Do you not think that to improve at the moment loans are the only way , to get better players we have to wait for the transfer window to open to get experience in to the club this only comes from the football league we need strikers who can finish , and they ain't cheap

Quite possibly true, but there might be another aspect. That is, I suspect that the total wage bill might be a lot less than previously.
Or if not, well it certainly should be less.

Have to agree that was out of order. The guy got us to this division our bestest ever manager and people are slating the man off. Show some respect.

Re: Chester v Moors 09/12/2017updates
24 games have now been played, 22 remaining, and we are 8 points off 20th place where we need to be to avoid relegation.
It is extremely likely Moors will be relegated so I am sure the Board already will be considering the options if that happens.
I actually enjoyed watching Moors in the National League North playing against other mostly part time teams, the same as the Moors, than against the many full time teams, in the National League to whom, we mostly lose to.
