Assuming the game goes ahead on Saturday, enjoy the trip to the Palatinate of Durham for those travelling. Not much to do in Spennymoor, but Durham City is just up the road for anyone arriving early. Let me know if the Swan and Three Cygnets on Elvet Bridge still sells pints for cheap and oddly specific prices like £1.83.

Whilst not saying it is impossible, I am not sure that Spennymoor would happily give up home advantage and travel all the way to us, just to get the game on.
If there was long term issues with the pitch, more likely that they would try and play area neutral venue, ie Blyth Spartans.

The match at Spennymoor on Saturday, Carol Kirkwood has just said it will go ahead with no problem.
Seriously, the weather forecast says that on Saturday it will be dry and about 5 or 6 degrees C.
