Re: Could Moors still be relegated?
Yeah, it let's keep our powder dry, egg on face at this pint would be heartbreaking.
Let's hope Woking lose at the weekend.
I have faith in the squad to get points but let's not tempt fate.

Re: Could Moors still be relegated?
Two points needed from three tough games to be certain of avoiding the drop. We can do this. Should Woking lose away to Guiseley on Saturday, we would need one point for safety. By Saturday Guiseley will be playing their fourth game in eight days so nothing can be taken for granted, they could be knackered or, they could play with the freedom of a team whose fate is settled. Let's hope it's the latter.
Irrespective of what happens elsewhere, our fate is still in our own hands.

Re: Could Moors still be relegated?
Surely we only need 1 point from our last 3 matches to survive?
Guiseley and Chester already down.
We're on 50 points so Torquay can't catch us. Woking can get to 51 points if they win both their remaining games but would have to overturn a goal difference of 12 goals if we manage to pick up 1 point... unless we have another Tranmere away-day nightmare like last season, I don't think that's realistic.
Of course, it would be nice to have picked up a couple of points before the final game so we can all relax and enjoy it more.

Re: Could Moors still be relegated?
It's a funny old game, that's why I used the phrase "to be certain", however, I did miscalculate as Woking losing to Guiseley on Saturday means we will be safe.

Re: Could Moors still be relegated?
If Woking lose on Saturday we’re safe irrespective if we get a point or not. If we and Woking lose they’d still be 5 points behind us with 1 to play.
If Woking lose and Barrow win, Woking are down. Torquay have to win out and hope Barrow and Woking don’t pick up another point.

Re: Could Moors still be relegated?
Much as I would like to see WASU holding open the doors to the Home Office for Diane Abbot, I think it is unlikely in the extreme for us to go down now.
We'd have to get nothing and Barrow and Woking get a clean sweep. Can't see that given the current lay if the land.
