Re: How to expand the Fan Base ?

Easier said than done, but a run into the FA Cup third round would do the trick. All the exposure, the mythos and not least the money would help propel the club and attract new supporters.

Season ticket prices surely, surely make no difference to attracting more support?

Who is going to buy a season ticket for a club they've never visited?

I see what you're saying, but as mentioned in my post, the potential is there as seen with some of the gates we had last season. We only sold 180 season tickets last season, 180 isn't good enough. I believe we should be trying to commit the part-timers into full timers. You've probably got a selection of fans comparing our price to either villa, blues or wba, where it's actually more value to watch Championship football over non league.

Difficult task don't get me wrong, been here long enough to understand that but I'd just love us to make a big campaign to boost crowds on a more regular basis. Budgets have been mentioned, but get the numbers in, the finance will follow.

To repeat my other point, get the U23 ST deal out there and get the youth in. £65 is bloody bargain!
