Solihull Moors 1 Maidenhead United 0
Missing Thomas and Gudger, still out injured, although Thomas looked pretty fit running up and down the touchline but I assume is still out because of his head injury, this was a hard fought deserved win.
With us missing a penalty and hitting the bar and Maidenhead having some good chances, the score could have been 3-2, not 1-0.
Entertaining game and 6 p0ints out of 6 is great start.

It’s good to know we have some depth in the squad and can grind out a win.

Re: Solihull Moors 1 Maidenhead United 0
A good solid performance all round by Moors tonight and although they contributed to a great game and had a number of chances I think on balance a draw would have flattered Maidenhead somewhat. George Carline and Jermaine Hylton both put in particularly good shifts for my money.
Some stern tests lie ahead in the form of Aldershot and Fylde in the next week, but if Solihull can show the kind of controlled possession they did for periods of this game, then there is good cause for optimism.

Very impressed by how hard working the team were tonight, just a shame we did not take all our chances and make it a more comfortable win. Great start to the season Moors.

Re: Solihull Moors 1 Maidenhead United 0
Was in the pub until 9ish so only caught the last 30 minutes or so on the commentary, but by the sounds of it we were quite comfortable, even after Record's second yellow.
Good to rack up some points early on before the tougher fixtures come around - though I'd fancy us to get something out of Aldershot at home.
I will be in attendance and looking forward to seeing my second Moors win of the season.

Re: Solihull Moors 1 Maidenhead United 0
Solid performance from Moors. Looked good in attack, deserved to win by more than a solitary goal.
Defensively we looked fairly comfortable. Williams did very well slotting in alongside Daly. I thought George Carline struggled at right back. He was on my side of the pitch in the first half and seemed to frequently get caught out of position and easily beaten in one-on-ones. He seemed to improve in the 2nd half.
Ryan Boot had another good game. Not troubled too much but made good saves when called upon. It's good to see a keeper who is prepared to come out and punch crosses that are difficult to hold on to, rather than staying on his line. His decision making was spot on in that regard.
Midfield looked very good, Storer, Carter and Osborne is a very strong unit.
Hopefully more of the same on Saturday against Aldershot (who are coming off the back of a 3-0 defeat at Chesterfield)

Missed penalty , hit the post , hit the bar and plenty of other near misses by the Moors.
4 - 1 to Solihull would have been a truer reflection.
