This is a man who shouts get your 5050 tickets here when there is no one in the ground. Having said that people buy a ticket to keep him quiet

You don't understand the psychology of subliminal engagement. The punters become enamoured by the constant repetition of the invitation to purchase a ticket, having been constantly harangued by my dulcet tones on their approach the ground and on their eventual entry, they purchase a ticket for which they have only a probable 300 to 1 chance of winning. It's a win win for the club and a win win for the winner.

He played very well tonight and yes he should have had a couple of goals at least and went off to a standing ovation with 10 mins to go. Looked very comfortable and confident on the ball and hopefully can do for the Blues what he did for the Moors.

Re: Omar Bogle

Great to see a former Moor in blue. Yes he did well, and impressed the crowd. I would have given him perhaps 8/10, but there were the old signs of his speed and greed, shooting when maybe a pass would have been better, but Blues are goal shy so I liked his confidence to shoot. He told Maghoma off for delaying a pass which then caused him to be offside, so he is already confident enough to deal with one of the senior players already.
I'm wondering how Alex is feeling about Gary Gardener upgrading to Blues? There were some positive signs from him too, and very little evidence of the pink and baby blue stain on his career. It'll take time but his re-hab has started OK.

Re: Omar Bogle

Bogle only got the standing ovation because he's an ex-Blue. Mediocre debut on a night that showed why we were lowest scorers in the league last season.

Vassell will be the one to watch once he's fit. Very impressive as a lone striker in a poor side last season before getting injured.

Re: Omar Bogle

The mediocrity was a higher standard of mediocrity last night MOOR5. Its true that with 11 shots to 1 in the first half we should have scored, however my point about Bogle shooting on site was meant to be a sign of improvement.
