Re: Today Is The Day
Really disappointed that I will miss tonight's game. Best wishes to Tim and the lads, let's hope we can make it into the 3rd round draw. Anything is possible as the team have proved so far this season. Have a great night and hopefully see you at Sutton if I get back in time from holiday. COYM

Those of you who know me know I’m not a hugely emotional and fairly reserved person, but I felt like I had to write something about just how big of a deal today is for us.
The day is upon us, the biggest day in this small clubs short history. A day where it’s not about how Blues or Villa are doing, how many Manchester City are putting past another Premier League whipping boy. It’s all about us, Solihull Moors, the eyes of English football, the country are on us and only us.
I must say I’ve not been this excited for a game since the 27th of February 2011, that seems a whole life time ago. The day before, Moors beat Workington Town 2-0 to go into the play off places in the Blue Square North, with goals coming from Dom Langdon and the legend that is Junior English.
The very same day, tomorrow’s opponents were in the Premier League, getting a drubbing away to Wolves. They would be relegated two months later. Hardly surprising when you have Richard Kingson between the posts and DJ Campbell and Brett Ormerod up top.
Now we find the two clubs coming together today, under the lights and in front of the BBC cameras. Moors doing better than anybody who was a fan at the very beginning in 2007 could have ever imagined; and Blackpool enjoying a small resurgence after years of financial torture, can protest and asset stripping.
We all know what’s up for grabs here. A load of money, a potential trip to one of the big boys. But it’s the chance to be written into FA Cup folklore that should be really getting us going. Seeing Solihull on highlights reels for decades to come, being written into the history books alongside Hereford, Woking, Altrincham, Sutton and Lincoln would make me exceptionally proud that I was there.
The game is going to shape our future either way, A win tonight will see us financially straight for a long time, we could gain a whole host of new supporters and a chance to be in the FA Cup history books forever.
Let’s get Damson Park loud, hostile, lets get in their faces, you never know what could happen.
11v11. 90 minutes.
You need to do the pre-match team talk, words from the heart, well said

Anyone know if we will be free to move around as normal or allocated to our spot designated on the ticket?

We’re in the hat!!! Just glad we put on a decent performance and were more than a match for Blackpool.

Re: Today Is The Day
Really proud of the lads. The whole back line were awsome.
Had enough chances to win that game. Thought we were marginally the better side and you'd never have thought we were two divisions below.
Thought each and every player was magnificent. Timbo Flowers came across really well on TV.
Still not convinced with that disallowed goal. (mind you I am as biased as hell).
Hope we can keep the confidence going into the Harrogate game. Couldnt make the game tonight but will be there on tuesday.

Many thanks TRFC, many of us felt that we were the stronger team towards the end and nearly nicked it. We have a decent away record, except against yourselves, so we travel not in hope but in expectation.

Re: Today Is The Day
Very proud of the moors tonight, what a great performance with 100 per cent total commitment, thought we could of nicked it at the end with a little bit more luck, tuck shop end was rocking second half never heard it so loud, onto the replay now looking to cause an upset.
