HUGE win!!!
Top 5 becoming extremely tight now. Good result with Orient losing for a second game running. They certainly have the tougher fixtures going forward!

Great result. I thought without the suspended Liam Daly our defence might be in trouble but that was not the case, which is most encouraging.
Adi pulling up his shirt to reveal the' No goals no sleep' slogan on his vest was a great bit of fun! Shows there is a fantastic spirit in the team.

We thoroughly deserved the win. Unfortunately the conversation I heard on the way out was to the effect that how could we deserve promotion when we had only 72 travelling fans? Counter to this how come so many home supporters turned up to see such a weak host team?

And what of it?
I'm sure those same home fans would have been far more magnanimous about our "punching above our weight" had they been on the right end of yesterday's scoreline. With a growing number of ex-League stalwarts stuck fast in this division - Wrexham are the prime example - it seems there's an ever greater amount of resentment circulating towards any clubs perceived to be placed above their "natural" spot in the pecking order. The Salfords and Fyldes will no doubt get this to varying degrees.
Fortunately for us, the table is ordered by points and not attendances. Get enough of the former, though, and the latter is sure to follow. COYM

Indeed, and in the tiny but excellent real ale bar on the station their supporters were far more magnanimus and noted they might still have a say in the eventual league winner as they play Salford up there in the last game.
Incidentally getting to Hartlepool by train yesterday was a real mission and one I shared to and from Sheffield with villa supporters, very unfortunately.
