Strange. I suppose he spent most of the season on the bench which probably showed that Flowers didn’t rate him but was one of my favourites and always looked like something could happen when he had the ball, which is what we seemed to lack as evidenced by the Fylde game where the only chances we really had were long throws.

Dead right when you say that Jammo looked like he would make things happen.

Shame hes going.... great player. Having said that, got to be pleased that he is the only big player leaving at present.
Wish him the best of luck wherever he ends up.

Sure that the club will look to bring in good replacements, then we can push on and give promotion another crack.

Hope Tim F will be with us for at least another season. Definately going in the right direction.

Re: Goodbye Hylton

Found it bizarre that Flowers dropped Hylton so often in the second half of the season. Losing him makes our forward line a lot more one dimensional with Blissett and Wright the only two to sign so far. Our most exciting forward as well, he will be hugely missed.

Re: Goodbye Hylton

Not gonna get into a rant but what are we doing?

IF he has been released by the club because he is no longer wanted then I wish him the very best of luck and it's a shame the club don't rate him no more.

IF he has been released because he didn't want to stay and sign a new deal And the club really tried to persuade him to stay then I really hope he remembers that the grass isn't always greener and he only has to ask mr Yates that question.

Good luck either way tho.

Very disappointed by this, for me the most gifted and exciting of the forwards. Guess some sort of clash with Flowers hence the ridiculously limited game time cos he definitely fitted the system whether 2 or 3 played up top.

Would have thought he'd have commanded a price so seems daft to let his contract lapse unless Jamma made it clear he was off regardless.

Wish him all the very best.

I reckon he probably wanted out. Wasn't getting the game time.
