Cover and competition at left back, an area which we were light in, especially as Reckord is prone to picking up cards. Good age too, still got plenty of years ahead of him, yet has experience of winning this division.
Would still like to see Reckord as first-choice left back though.

I was under the impression it was central midfield for Macclesfield. I think he could be a very useful signing.
If he is playing full back, I'd take him over Reckord any day.

Played in a promotion winning side and at a league level so should be ok.
Think that we already have a pretty good left back in Reckord, so maybe to provide cover or to double up and add more left sided presence going forward.
Local lad so should be motivated to do well here.
