With the main stand still closed there won't be any live coverage tonight.

Is Switch Radio still involved?
I ask because on Saturday I tried to listen in and failed. Their website said nothing about sport and they were merely playing music.
Yesterday at 7.45.pm Switch Radio was having a discussion about punk rock!

They had a full sports show on Saturday. I could definitely hear it loud and clear, so perhaps there was just a temporary issue when you tuned in, or a problem at your end?
I think last night would've been on their Mixlr channel anyway, but nobody could broadcast live due to the main stand being closed. All the broadcasters were in the bizarre position of having to record commentary and upload it later for anyone who wanted to listen to it on catch up!

The BBC Radio Devon commentary came through in "real time" on the BBC sport app last night, so there must have been provision for some broadcasters - wasn't too biased towards Torquay either!

Beeb must have had their own mobile internet connection with them. There was no provision from the club last night at all - all media were over in Block O, with no power or connections and out of club WiFi range.

It's a shame that the club posted that there would be commentary from Switch, which is where I took my information from. On checking back after the game it appeared to have been deleted. The club also posted that all home games would be on Switch. We'll have to see what happens on Saturday!

Re: Solihull Moors v Torquay Utd 06/08/2019 commentaries
It won't be live if all the media is in Block O again, as Switch simply doesn't have the resources the BBC does to work around facilities at the club not yet being available.
It's a shame, as the commentator, Ben, is extremely hardworking and knowledgeable. It's an asset to the club to have a dedicated commentary team like that, week in, week out. To be fair, credit to the club for making it work and advertising it consistently. Just sucks that they couldn't make alternative provisions with the main stand still not finished.

Re: Solihull Moors v Torquay Utd 06/08/2019 commentaries
I was surprised at the number of cars parked in the estate but if it is now £5 a car, that would explain it. Can’t understand why people park on the dual carriage way when there is a massive housing estate with plenty of space as long as you don’t mind a 5 minute walk. The houses may not like it but it is only for a few hours a week.
