Re: Notts County v Solihull Moors 03/09/2019 updates and commentaries
All things considered not bad at all!
We have reverted away from the 3 at the back and kept a clean sheet.
Sounded like a turgid affair where we were more likely to win. We have abated the losing streak. Would like to see a tricky wing forward in the Mold of Hylon or Omari SJ signed and a 4-3-3 solid option with McCallum supported by Stenson and thus hoped for player in tricky games and our big three at home. Sure we will pick up just more confidence and drive needed going forward.

Great support, there was a fair few of us making plenty of noise, looked more solid with a back four, Jamey unlucky to hit bar with his free kick, we're just missing a bit of pace up front and maybe a decent winger to get some crosses into the big guys.

Re: Notts County v Solihull Moors 03/09/2019 updates and commentaries
Definitely a better performance tonight, against what looked a decent side. We were tighter at the back with a back four and Daly dropped to the bench, and consequently had more meaningful possession higher up the pitch. It was much more the mixed and more unpredictable attacking style that was so successful last season.
A point away stops the rot. An opportunity now to build more confidence away at Kelty.
Osborne has been frustrating me more and more of late. When he gets into good positions in and around the box he seems determined to hold the ball far too long searching for contact, rather than using his obvious verve, talent, and footballing intelligence to play the ball through to players in better positions. At times he seems more interested in proving he's better than the opposition than actually making the passes that help the team. The free kick given against him for handball sums it up: it wasn't a foul but he feels he's so good that he has the right to win a free kick every time he loses the ball.
