The best half of Moors football that I've seen in a long, long time. Totally dominant.

Half the season done and we have 40 points.
Last season we made 86 points for 2nd place, Os got 89 so that should be a target. We had a bad patch around September so I am hopeful we can keep up this present run and come close to the top.

Yes we've been promising someone a thumping like that, gotta love the home fans, on forum moaning g complaining, bout us, dirty disgusting, sly underhand berating referee always absolute tosh ...they had more bookings and we got nothing all night in the way of decisions,..especially from the absolute clown with the 'take the throws wherever you want,' yellow flag.
By the way Burnley get the samevevrytime they win too. Pity we couldn't have done this as we should have done on sat at dover, must say Maidenhead showed it poss with 4 goals at dover tonight. Crazy night great night and Bromley lost...
Ps Beesley and Ball were good as well...in fact cant really leave anyone out.....happy

I imagine the winning total won't be as much this season. Nobody can string 6-7 wins together like a few teams could last year.

Chatting at the Urinals last October, I remarked,
"Things are looking good, built on the solid team we had from December last year, and under Tim we are looking just as good, we could even look toward a play off run this season."

A man replies,
" 30 more points to stay up is the target"
That man, zips up, smiles and leaves, he is still the manager today.

Long bory from me sorry Fildes, but my point is, we can reasonably start to look upward now.
I near !@#$ myself last season with the FA cup run, this season, seems a tougher obstacle that is no longer as unworldly.
Long and short of it, I now can believe that Moors are capable of FA cup R3 and a go at promotion to the EFL. Credit to the club for the progress they have made, I genuinely thought it would be nice to see us fight for a spot in this league for 'as long as we could'.

That lower total would be fine so long as we can be the ones who string a few more wins together. Dover should have been a win, and could have been if the post hjad been kinder to Blissett.

Another 17 wins out of 23 and we’ll win this league. That should be the aim.

What we shall not be doing is getting any league points this weekend, so whilst we are currently in 2nd place in the table, just one point behind Barrow, that is hardly likely to remain the case.

Barrow in 1st place, Bromley in 3rd place play Yeovil in 6th place, Woking in 4th place and Harrogate in 7th place, they are all playing this weekend, so a low chance we shall stay in 2nd place.
