I think you're confusing past with history, Ojive.

Re: If you have BT Sport
The Rewind on TV today was also a defeat for villa v Man City at Wembley a few months back. The Companies have conspired to show villa at the wrong end of 2 scorelines within 5 days. They should look back at some of the glory years to give their fans a boost. They can quite effectively colour old B+W films nowadays.

Re: If you have BT Sport
Jadon sancho. He deserves respect for what he done yesterday. He got booked for it but wrongly so in my opinion. Fair play to the ref tho for speaking out after the game and saying that he had no other choice.
The rules are stupid. I remember when gray done the same when scoring for Leicester after the helicopter and got booked. People were calling for the ref to be sacked. Where in fact if he had of not booked him he may of been

Re: If you have BT Sport
It's not up to referees to decide what is and isn't an appropriate message, plus removing shirts can cause issues with getting them back on and being properly prepared to play (think Diego Forlan), so unfortunately the rule has to be that it's a caution across the board.
Similar to England kicking up a pointless fuss about being allowed to play with poppies on their shirts. It's not up to FIFA or regional confederations to decide what is or isn't an acceptable political symbol or whatever, so it's banned across the board. It's also a fad; teams never used to have poppies emblazoned on their shirts and neither England nor Scotland had them back in 1999 when the game actually took place on 11th November. But anyway, that's a whole other can of worms.

Re: If you have BT Sport
Ah the American Dream! Free TVs from looting when the opportuniuty arises. What a basket case the USA has become! Little progress towards a just society and run by an idiot who thought sending in the troops to shoot a few more of his citizens would calm the situation.
The T-shirt and slogan is a token protest and it is acceptable to punish him as he would have known the rules when deciding to do the action. Being booked in this case is itself a token punishment.

Re: If you have BT Sport
I agree and disagree with MOOR5 that it is not up to referees on what should be a caution and what should not be. There has to be consistency otherwise players do not know where they stand.
Diego Forlan. Having just scored one of his first (if not his actual first) goal for Manchester United he took off his shirt to celebrate. At the time this was not a caution, however at the restart of play be was not wearing his shirt and tried to get involved in play. Not wearing the correct equipment is a caution. Here the referee was correct in cautioning the player, but should he have not checked that all players of each team were in their own half (with correct kit) before restarting the game.
Regarding Demari Gray being cautioned for showing a message on his shirt following his goal for Leicester against Cardiff in 2018. Technically, the referee was correct. Could he have turned a blind eye? He may have wished too, however, as the player ran in the direction towards the referee, the referee had no other option other than to caution Gray.
Who would be a referee?
