Premier league 3pm blackout lifted for the forthcoming season
Some breaking news tonight
With the efl announcing yesterday that every single game will be either shown on tv or streamed online until fans can return the premier league have done the same. Its is now Expected that every premier league game will be televised until supporters can return. Whether that is fully or partly remains to be seen.
National league over to you.
Surely they can come up with some kind of deal with bt like they did with the playoffs north and south.
Who knows tho.

Re: Premier league 3pm blackout lifted for the forthcoming season
The problem is finding someone to carry it with so many Premier League games being shown as well as championship games.
Chances are the National League will be allowed at least socially-distanced season ticket holders too, since the crowds are smaller and the grounds rarely full to anything like capacity.
Smart money for the Moors might be setting up their own simple streaming service if fans end up locked out.

Sky will eventually lose broadcasting rights to the premier league and top flight football altogether.
They are going to lose viewers this season.
They've sacked matt le tissier charlie Nicholas phil Thompson and scott minto
Jeff stelling is also on the verge of quitting.
So maybe the national league 1 day will be on sky sports. Just maybe.

Re: Premier league 3pm blackout lifted for the forthcoming season
I'm no great fan of The Premiership anymore but I'd think Jeff Stirling would be the biggest loss. I'm sorry Le Tiss is going but none of the others are irreplaceable, Thompson in particular is a misery who has outlived his welcome. Expect there will be a few fewer white old men on the panel in the future.

Re: Premier league 3pm blackout lifted for the forthcoming season
I'm honestly baffled as to why there is such a strength of feeling about Sky changing their pundits. They do it all the time.
It's almost as if the people watching Soccer Saturday do so because they think Jeff and the gang are their mates, rather than for any insight into football whatsoever.
That said, I'd have made sure Paul Merson and Chris Kamara got the boot with the rest of the !@#$ old duffers. If Sky are planning on replacing them with a serious, professional, prepared panel, they may as well have a totally clean slate. Though Merson's contract may not yet be up for renewal or something.

Sky, Murdoch and the Premiership are abominable and with McLeish at B9 are the reason I turned up at Damson Park in 2011. Thank god I saw the light
