Re: Solihull Moors v Wrexham Live Stream
Neither the focus nor the sound were great but in the conditions it was always going to be tricky. The players did really really well, combative attitude and especially in these conditions kept the ball well. The strikers took there chances very well. And also doing very well, very well indeed even were the commentators.
Can we have Blackpool at home in Round One as they deserve to have a second chance to lose at Damasonwood.

For the same reason, Rotherham would be good!

Yes, just realised that. We shall have to be patient.

Re: Solihull Moors v Wrexham Live Stream
Great performance by Moors. Looked assured in every department despite the appalling conditions. A very insightful and balanced contribution from Statto on the commentary aswell! Getting a bit ahead of myself perhaps , but if we do progress to the 2nd round, of our other previous League opponents I don’t think even Wycombe or Luton would particularly relish coming to Damson Park the way we’re currently playing.

I’d be happy with Marine or Cray Valley PM!
Would be nice to avoid league opposition in the next 2 rounds! Gagging for us to draw a PL side in the 3rd round!

The easier the draw the better for me. It’s all about the prize money for getting through to the next round and the ones after that in the current climate.

Re: Solihull Moors v Wrexham Live Stream
Fantastic performance from the whole team but I feel special mention should go to Callum Maycock who had a superb game in midfield. He was a bit of an "under the radar" addition to the squad during the summer but looks like a real asset. Ran the "engine room" very well.
The whole squad is looking very strong. Despite being light on strikers, the ones we have got look very good and we've evidently got goalscorers throughout the side. We also look very solid in defence. Williams had another good game at centre back (I assume they aren't called "centre halves" when there are three of them!)
Poor Wrexham must be sick of the sight of Moors!

I know exactly where you’re coming from about finally drawing a Premier league team in the Cup, especially after we so tantalisingly close to meeting Arsenal a couple of seasons ago before losing our 2nd round replay at Blackpool. It would be a massive coup for the club in raising it’s national profile and would also be a much welcomed money-spinner.
I’m being ultra-picky now, but there is every likelihood that any PL side we face would almost certainly field an U23 side against us, as Arsenal did at Sutton Utd. a couple of years ago, with cameo appearances from a couple of 1st team players for 20 minutes at the end. I personally feel that although inevitable , it would detract slightly from the club’s achievement and the whole occasion, but hey, what can I say, we’re nowhere near that stage yet...!?

Technically there should only be one centre-half if we're talking historical football tactics, as the name comes from the middle one of the half-backs retreating more and more into a shielding position in front of the defence over time.
So I guess you'd actually describe Hancox and Williams' positions today as something like three-quarter-back, with Howe having been slightly deeper in the centre. I said before that Carter was playing the central role like a libero. Definitely suited him more than ending up at three-quarter-back vs Boreham Wood!
