Not that I picked up on.

Ward is probably still struggling with getting up to full fitness, especially having picked up an injury in the first game.

Rooney must still be out from getting injured against Wrexham.

Archer is a mystery.

I agree the whereabouts of Archer is a mystery.

Cameron played very well at Stockport and was fit at the end of the game on Tuesday so I was very surprised he was not even on the bench today, and Sbarra, who also did well, did not start.

I have just heard Jimmy's post match interview, after a poor performance by the team he picked, and it would have been appreciated by us fans if Cameron had been injured in training, Jimmy could have told us, or his reasoning why he was not in the squad if he was fit.

Hopefully, this poor performance will be a 'wake up ' call and we bounce back ( as Jimmy said) on Saturday at Scunthorpe

I keep saying it, the communication to the fans is poor, I don’t care whether the opposition know who is available, fans want an update on injuries and team selection before each match

Team selection seems eratic and a complete mystery to me.
We have a large squad, but never get close to playing the same team twice. We must have the longest injury list in the league.
Do we know our best team?.. i dont. Wonder if the players are as confused.
Complete lack of continuity and any ability for players to get used to playing together.
Maybe it is some sort of squad rotation. We do have a lot of fixtures. It would be nice to know.
I dont hold to the secrecy arguement. For goodness sake! you can give fans a clue without giving all plans away. We dont want detailed specifics. Most other teams manage to do that.
Bang go another few karma points!

If we’re being transparent about injuries then I feel I need to let you all know I tweaked my back in the gym earlier and therefore am not available for Saturday....🤦‍♂️😂😂

I agree with Statto to an extent that I wouldn’t let teams know about injuries etc before the game as it may effect the way teams set up. However, JS could elaborate after the game about where people were, why xyz didn’t start etc.

My thoughts on the stream and performance, both piss poor imo yet we still looked in control until a lapse by Carts and two “soft” penalties.

Only 6 games gone tho.

Vive le Moors....

I wouldn't worry about the karma system. I was in about 50 profit until a couple of years ago. No idea what it's there for or who actually does most of the voting all the time. Seems certain users are particularly targeted sometimes. If you don't like what someone says, tell them, don't snipe from a distance. That's what a forum is for.

I don't think we should go too overboard. The selection didn't work yesterday, and I question the wisdom of playing our usual system on a pitch well known to be a bog on a hillside. Maidenhead are a decent mid-table side this season, you'd think, and they're not just going to roll over for us at home. We needed to find a way to win. All that said, the manager has got everything right over the past few games.

I posted from the fanzine account on Twitter that Maidenhead were mediocre, which upset one of their fans who was evidently mooching around for something to get offended by. The frustrating thing is that it's true, compared to the sides we've scored points against (and knocked out of the cup) this season, they are mediocre. They didn't play particularly well; they were effective and efficient in spells. It was a poor day at the office, but it goes to show the level of expectation that we can end up complaining about playing the wrong good players and losing away to a half-decent side.

I've been cheered up by the results of both Birmingham clubs this weekend, but was extremely disappointed by our sudden carelessness yesterday. The commentator when you could hear him, kept a countdown towards our 9 hours without conceeding a goal, and that clearly poisoned it.
I wonder if we had no option but to play the new signings or if we would have been better served by using them as substitutes. I am also a fan of Carts for obvious historical reasons but also as a team player, but is he supposed to be a left sided defender where his blocked shot caused the start of our decline?
I sympatise wih you Griff, please post regularly about your progress to full fitness.
