Gloucester on Tuesday
Big game. If we don't get 3 points then things will not be looking good for us.
I know it's early in the season, but we need to be converting good performances into points and beating the teams that are or will be around us come the end of the season. Gloucester could be one of them, lets get behind the team and make sure we get the 3 points after being disappointed today.

Re: Gloucester on Tuesday
All three games so far have a common theme as well as result. If we can't translate chances into goals then we will be down. We have the capability to create those chances when we use the width of the pitch: just need someone to convert those chances. Yesterday changes up front didn't happen until after we had gone behind, as late as the 80th minute, which was far too late.

Re: Gloucester on Tuesday
I agree.
I think that unlike agaist fleetwood and alfreton, yesterdays defeat was just as much bobs fault for not making any changes than it was the teams fault.
Also when the changes did come (finally), how the hell did Matty Lewis stay on?

Re: Gloucester on Tuesday
His reactions are so slow I can only think it would have taken the remaining ten minutes to notice the board light up.

Re: Gloucester on Tuesday
Thank goodness for teams with minus points starts to the season, that's all I can say.
I'll be at my first game of the season against Gloucester.
Three points or forget the rest of the season I think is a reasonable ask.

Re: Gloucester on Tuesday
I was waiting for some posts on the game before putting my comments on here but I think everyone is depressed.
Absolute shambles of a performance, 2 very poor teams but one slightly less poor than the other, strange team selection, even stranger substitutions or non substitutions and no glint of anything coming from the bench that might change things around......OK, now I'm depressed.

Re: Gloucester on Tuesday
Totally agree with worf99's comments. The performance on Tuesday was one of the worst I have seen from the team. Moors only came to life when Edwards and Gardner came on, even then there only two real chances, the Gard's overhead kick and the Lewis missed header. Things do look bleak. Little creativity in midfield and one goal from four games sums up our goal threat. Did not understand why forward substitutions were made so late. Unless things pick up there will need to be changes either a new Manager ( but who is out there ? ) and some changes to the squad. After waiting all summer for the season to start I am glad that due to holidays etc. I will not have to watch a game until the Telford game towards the end of October.

Re: Gloucester on Tuesday
I think Jake also had a reasonable chance in the late stages, controlling, steeping sideways and shooting over. Such a bad game, and inevitably we went lost.
Its a long drive up to Harrogate. I made it last year when our team were doing well and we were beaten by 3 goals in the second half when they were kicking down the ski-slope that is their pitch. So do I bother or do I redirect to another match; have been thinking of Yeovil v Orient, this being a ground to tick off. Still not decided, but you have to expect some entertainment for your admission money and effort in traveling. Not getting that following Moors just now.
