Man of the Match v Histon 24/08/13

This season we are again running a Home Man of the Match competition. One vote per game and at the end of the season there will be a Forum Home Man Of The Season trophy presented to the winner. 1st place 10 pts, 2nd place 7 pts, 3rd place 5 pts. Tied positions will share the available points with a minimum of 1 pt for each contender. Voting will usually close the day before the next match, however if an away match follows within a couple of days, voting will be extended beyond then.

Knights for me, always looked like something would happen when he got the ball.

I thought we looked much more adventurous when Till and Knights came on and how we didn't manage to score is a mystery. We did revert to defending too deep for ten or so second half minutes when we allowed them to run us a bit ragged but we got through that and although it looked likely that we would eventually take the points, it was not to be. It was, however, an improvement on Tuesday night's second half performance so a point won, a clean sheet, still unbeaten and confidence for the future. Matt Birley for me.
