Re: Moors old boys do well for Leamington

Yes, you are right Busi. Solihull Council should give some serious thought to investing or helping the Moors in any way that they can.

What a great way to raise the profile of the area. I would recon that almost every household must have at least one person interested in football.

If we had a suitable stadium it could have many other revenue earning uses in the area.

Youth teams and community based projects must be worth their weight in gold.

Would be interesting to know what (if anything) the local council does do to help the Moors.

I work in Leamington and know a few brakes fans they all are pleased for moors success, they possibly have an opportunity for a new ground nearer Leamington which would make it more accessible for more fans.I hope they win the play offs and get promoted.I enjoy the rivalary of a "local" derby and always enjoy it when we play them, which is why I can't understand why villa fans want the blues to go down as thats an amazimg fixture.

I think some of the stuff from the past was down to insecurity, really. Brakes fans had been without a club for some time and had to work their way back up the league, while many saw their natural place as being up there as one of the top Midlands non-league sides.

Obviously all our opinions of other clubs will be coloured by our experiences of them. I make no apologies for preferring Leamington not to be promoted, while I'd love to see Stourbridge, Redditch, Sutton Coldfield, Romulus, Stratford, etc. doing well.

I did find it amusing when they were giving it the big un about attendances and then started bleating after we took a large number of pissheads down to their place for the January game last time.

Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.

I hate Leamington. Plastic club, horrible billy big bollocks fans. Let them rot in the Evostick for years.

They're much the same as Nuneaton. Arrogant with out any basis. Maybe it's because all these Birmingham satellite towns are full of Villa fans?

Friends, Brummies, Silhillians, lend me your ears,
I come to bury Brakes not to praise them.
