What to expect?
I'm planning on going to some home and potentially away Moors games this season. I've been a Birmingham City fan all my life and have little to no experience of non-league football. I just had a couple of questions ahead of my first visit pre season game v Walsall.
Is the clubhouse open to all fans? and what are the opening and closing times? Does the clubhouse have sky sports and BT sports?
Is it more convenient and quicker to purchase tickets before the game or at the turnstile?
I read that at non-league games, supporters usually stand behind the goal of where your team is attacking. Does this happen at Damson Park?
How do most fans travel to away games? I've noticed that there is coach travel, do fans also go by train?
Thanks in advance!

WELCOME!

Open all day and not segregated so anybody can use it. It certainly has Sky Sports and I think it has BT too.

Not even sure if buying tickets in advance is possible? Just get them on the turnstile. If you get there early, grab your ticket then head to the club house, just show your ticket at the side gate to get back in without queuing.

Generally yes, though people do have their favourite place to stand obviously. If there is a large away following they will be segregated behind one goal so swapping ends is not possible.

Plenty on the coach and lots drive. If the game is convenient for train travel there will be enough people who prefer to travel on the train than via the supporters coach.
Thanks in advance!

I'm not entirely sure actually because I'm never that early.

Re: What to expect?
I think they're open about an hour before the game.
Moors fans tend to congregate behind the goals when possible. Generally we attack the Tuck Shop End in the second half, which gathers everyone together. In the first half (or whenever else attacking the other end) people tend to be more spread out, as many people prefer to stand on the main stand side rather than behind the goal (because the stand there was only added recently). You'll find groups of people on the steps in front of the toilet block, all along the sideline up to the corner flag, and then in the stand behind the goal as well.

We are more than a group of people... WE ARE THE TOILET GANG!
Biccie (!) - you are very welcome to join us. The other Blues fan - Roj - is (unfortunately) often there!! So - if you do - don't forget to bring ear-plugs!

Re: What to expect?
Know there is such a gang, sure I have met you and H as well as others. But your descriptions of roj( on here at least) don't equate to the ebuliant gentleman I have heard piping his lungs from those fabled steps. His ref, coach baiting, dip your breading and full thick head of dark hair had me think roj may be thine young loud bard himself... another Moors board alter ego ?

Re: What to expect?
I think it's important for you to realise Bic' that Martyr often follows a very minor welsh team called Merthyr Titful. He is often absent following them, so there is really no worries about him spoiling your day with his singy-songy rants and spittle spraying, usually about referring and any other obsession he happens to have on his mind (it tends to bounce around in that void area for quite a time).
I also need to point out that there are many other Bluenoses who look for both Solihull Moors, Blues and whoever are playing villa's results down at Damsonpark, not just myself.
