£2 to park in a bomb crater never ceases to irritate me when I go to matches.
I agree with you Roj. Piss poor if you you get turned away on match day because the car park is used by another party (even if they do make money from it).
I dont park there anymore and will probably not go anywhere near as often as I have a long walk to get there.
Moors and PR isnt a natural partnership.
This is an issue , which needs to be addressed URGENTLY ( apologies for the capital letters ).
Surely Land Rover should be paying for car park improvements, as in the main , their employees are using it !!!...
Moors supporters are equally as important.

Re: Solihull Moors FC " Ground "
Re previous posts - are we a football club or a car park business?
If we decide that we are running a car park business instead then a flat surface and bay markings to maximise use instead of guesswork would be good.
How about pay and display machines and wheel clamping (i am joking!!!).
Obviously the car park brings in much needed income and very very grateful for it, but - If supporters cant have use for 90 minutes once every other week in a football season that is only a part of a year (and pay for the privilage) then that is a poor show.
If the car park is truly the only thing keeping the club afloat then we are in a mess. We should then be trying desparately to get more people through the gate - Not turning them away at the potential loss of at least £15 + £2 a time.

Re: Solihull Moors FC " Ground "
I wonder if the car park has a higher turnover than the football club
Whose responsible for damage to cars with all those bomb holes or is it cars parked at owners risk ?

Re: Solihull Moors FC " Ground "
The real issue is why "ground" is in speech marks in the post title?

Ok Clive then a apology is due if it happens again at any game ask the gate staff and you will be catered for it is the exception not the rule but sometimes the club are caught out numbers wise it's very hard to guesstimate how many are attending on any given match
That was my point: it was the gate staff that refused me entry even when I explained that I was doing the 50/50 in order to raise money for the club!
It won't happen again because I won't be attempting to park there.
--- What a looooooooooong strange trip it's been
