Re: New Stadium?
I'm sure someone that has good connections within JLR can fix Ryan up a job there.

Just jobs they needed doing etc cleaning inside and outside in ground and moving tables and chairs and stuff like that. Big wolf I'm already in the process of getting back into jlr. Wasn't my fault club just needs to save abit of money by the looks of it. Let's just forget about it and move back to the subject that this thread is meant to be about and that's rumours of a new stadium which has come as a surprise again to me.

Re: New Stadium?
I take it that when Nathan Blissett shared this information, it was in strict confidence?
Our location is bad enough without moving further away from the town centre.

Re: New Stadium?
I for one look forward to our move to Meriden. I’m sure the villagers will love 1200 Tranmere fans trashing the Bulls Head and getting trashed on the green.

Re: New Stadium?
Couple of decent pubs in meriden with the bulls head with good food (although pricey) and you also have the queens with a curry house upstairs so all is not lost if we did.move to a rural part of the country buses are every 20 mins as well with the X1 running to and from Cov.

Re: New Stadium?
There is some land in Meriden that was recently taken over by gypsies and this was planned for housing which I think has now fallen through so it could be there. When you look at how Land Rover are building down Damson Lane they only need our ground to have the left hand side of the road. Like playing Monopoly!!

Re: New Stadium?
I think Camp Hill rugby club in Shirley Park would love a bit of investment if we need a new location.

The land the gypsies took over in 2010 is off Eaves Green Lane, Meriden and I thought was Green Belt. But if what Steve says is true and Solihull Council have agreed planning permission for an Housing estate, the plans for which have not proceeded, perhaps Land Rover could persuade the Council to let a Stadium for the Moors to be built there.
But the local residents would create a mighty protest. Remember they fought off the gypsies!
But just in case it is Eaves Green Lane, my Sat Nav tells me Eaves Green Lane is 12 miles from our house in Dorridge and takes 22 minutes so not too bad for us!!
