Re: Mike Turl
Not surprised at this. It was obvious to everyone connected at the club that he was acting as a shadow director.

Re: Mike Turl
From what I know/heard he never really wanted to be a Director, just a volunteer and help out, but sadly that involved him having to give money.
From what i know Mike has driven (along with mark fogarty) the strategy for the community teams, the social inclusion teams and the Disabled teams.
Shame someone giving their own money to a great cause and getting slated for it

Re: Mike Turl
Mike has been the saviour of this club in recent years and has always had its best interests at heart. His financial contribution has been immense and he does not expect a penny back, nor does he to my understanding take a penny out.
The BHA story is old news for which he has been punished, to uphold any charge would be unfair to him and the club, particularly when you think of the crooks and shadowy characters that the FA have approved to run Premier League and Championship clubs.
Mike’s contribution to Moors in the Community has been enormous and is doing wonderful things with schools, clubs and social inclusion, all with minimal publicity and no trumpet blowing. He and his peers require support, encouragement and positive recognition, let’s all make sure they know we’re behind them.

Re: Mike Turl
I am not Mike Turl. I am Chris Miles, im not afraid to say who I am, I am a volunteer for the Disabled Section of the Club, I raise money for them and have been doing this for 6 months, hope that doesn't constitute me as a director ! Mike has always helped fund our division and has contributed generously.
How the FA can judge us is beyond me - they recruited Sam Allardyce, Gary Neville (or is it Phil) ?? SMFC runs the most community cubs in the country.

I don't think it's a joking matter, without Mike's knowledge and support we could well have not had a club to discuss at this present time so I would suggest he needs our support at this time not flippant remarks.

I couldn't agree more, what happened in the past is over and done with. I've barely exchanged hellos with Mike Turl but I am aware of the constant and consistent support he has given to the club, financial and otherwise, and especially to the community side.
