Oh, I forgot to mention the FA Trophy victory, too. The stats are there for all to read. Sorry to spoil your celebration, see you next season emoticon .

We like being underdogs and sticking it to the 'big boys', oh yeah.

Hello, as the name states i come in peace.

I hate to be the guy that has to tell you this but you played against our reserves and 16 year olds today so 2-1 isn't as great a result as first thought.

Congrats on staying up but you'll need a little more than that to push for the play-offs.

We know that you stuck out the kids. It was always going to happen in the context of the results on Saturday.

Fact of the matter is we needed playoff form to have any chance of staying up from where we were when the current management team came in. We got it. The form table doesn't lie or make excuses.

I don't think anyone on here believes we have play off potential next season on the strength of last night's result, it's because for the second half of the season we have been the fourth best team in this league.

Imagine how good we could be if our strikers were of the same level as the rest of the team, or West Ham hadn't pinched our top scorer in the transfer window.

We're over achieving even being in this league, and we're loving every minute.

Good luck in the play offs and finish the job off properly this time.

Congratulations on a good result, I make no excuses about it being our reserve team, quite a few of them have started games this season. Congratulations also on staying up, I've enjoyed both of my visits to your ground and I wish you well for next season, but obviously hope not to be visiting :-) I look out for all the results each week and have been surprised at your form since Christmas, but I always had a feeling that you were going to be OK.

I must say I’ve developed a bit of a soft spot for Tranmere these last couple of years. Class ground with very friendly & knowledgable fans, in surprisingly pleasant surroundings near one of the best cities in the country.

The six and a half hour round trip after starting work at 5am on Tuesday was more than worth it. All the best for the playoffs but hopefully we do see you next year.

You compare Tuesday to Saturday, you'd have thought Tranmere were the team who have come through the non-league pyramid, not the ex-football league team with the attitude. I do hope Fylde !@#$ up the play-offs.

I do wish Tranmere well, but I would like another trip to Birkenhead next season.
