Bogle only got the standing ovation because he's an ex-Blue. Mediocre debut on a night that showed why we were lowest scorers in the league last season.

Vassell will be the one to watch once he's fit. Very impressive as a lone striker in a poor side last season before getting injured.

Stick to watching the moors m8. You got your wish with trueman now your slating bogle off!!

Not slating him. Just saying it was hardly a home debut worthy of the ovation. I stood and clapped, but I knew I was only doing it because he was an old Blues youth product rather than because he'd had an amazing game.

I'm wondering how Alex is feeling about Gary Gardener upgrading to Blues? There were some positive signs from him too, and very little evidence of the pink and baby blue stain on his career. It'll take time but his re-hab has started OK.

To be honest, Alex is too busy playing Fortnite to be bothered about who's in and out at the Vile. But he hung his head last night when he saw his hero in Royal Blue.

Re: Omar Bogle

To be honest I’m not sure if everyone clapping were aware of his previous blues history when he was in he Academy team. 99% of people were applauding him as he showed the hunger, aggression and skill that has not been seen for a long time down the blues. And I was also very impressed with Gary Gardner. His vision and confidence on the ball are what we have been missing and he controlled the midfield last night which allowed us to have so much possession and shots in goal and he definitely took the pressure off the defence. A few idiots booed him when his name was read out but he seemed to win us all over as he also received a standing ovation. Maybe he’ll be converted to the blue side and join his brother in being a bluenose 😜

Re: Omar Bogle

Bit harsh saying Omar is not up to Championship football. We had 17 shots against Swansea and outplayed them and 18 shots against Bolton. That’s 35 shots over 2 games and I think that adds up to more over the last 2 seasons!! Being that this all came in the 2 games Omar has played in you can see the difference his physical presence up front is making to the team and it is what has been missed. You can’t write him off after 2 games and say get rid of him as he has made a big difference and things will change. He just needs to get on the score sheet once and the floodgates will open I’m sure. Don’t be so negative and get behind him not only as a Blues player but also an ex-Moors player.

I know and believe me after watching Blues for the last 40 years I know exactly that shots mean 'jack' but what I am saying is that you can see a difference and at least now we are making shots rather than not getting past the midfield so perhaps the next step forward is for those shots to be converted into goals!
