Re: FA Cup 2Q on TV Saturday 22nd September
I think the northern section is smaller overall, so statistically northern teams are more likely to end up with difficult draws.

Re: FA Cup 3Q on TV Saturday 6th October
Chorley look like they're flying this season, definitely a team to avoid in the R4 draw assuming they progress.

Yes we will be in the Northern section, surely, assuming the 64 teams in R4Q are split 50-50.
Am I right in thinking the 24 National League teams are not themselves split 50/50 between North & South draws? Could mean southern teams who have reched R4Q are more likely to cop a difficult draw.
No the 64 teams are not necessarily split 50/50. Last season there were 28 teams in the north section and 36 teams in the south section. We would almost certainly be in the north section.
I will try and put my best guess on Sunday on what the split of the teams will be for Monday's draw.

Re: FA Cup 3Q on TV Saturday 6th October
As expected, in the TV match, Chorley duly beat Peterborough Sports.
Some interesting results in other 3Q matches today, for example Stourbridge 3 - 2 Kidderminster Harriers, and that was after Stourbridge had been two goals down.
So no possible match against Kidderminster in two weeks time, nor against Brackley, who went out to Marine.
Nor against Mickleover Sports, who Moors played against in a cup some years back.
Hednesford were knocked out today by Kettering. But still a possibility is a match against Blyth Spartans, who knocked out Gainsborough Trinity today.
All in all, I think the great fixture in two weeks time would be against Stourbridge, but knowing our luck we shall be travelling to Blyth!

Cracker at Brackley v Marine. Visitors 3 up at the break; Hosts scored twice in first 10 mins of second half. Could get the mariners.

Re: FA Cup 3Q on TV Saturday 6th October
How on earth would going to Stourbridge be a great fixture? It’s a dump, I’d much rather go to Blyth.
Marine, Dunston UTS or Witton will do nicely.

Re: FA Cup 3Q on TV Saturday 6th October
I can think of 25000 reasons why playing against Stourbridge would be great. That is they would be amongst the easier of the possible opponents that we might meet, although I readily admit that no one would be that easy. The joys of the FA Cup.
Why 25000? Simply the winner of 4Q matches in this year's FA Cup will get £25000, and of course the chance for more in later rounds.
