Well done Moors!

Witton 0-2 Moors

Thanks for the £25000 from the FA.

Some surprise results, including Eastleigh knocked out, and also Havant & Waterlooville, who lost to Metropolitan Police.

Adi Yussuf 39th min and Dales 82nd min, absolute peach of a goal.

Scores are at here for anyone still having trouble finding them elsewhere. Doesn't look like a great day for giantkilling, but I was surprised to see Chesterfield win at Fylde given the former's shocking run of form.

Great to be in the hat again, Sunderland/Portsmouth/Cov or even Walsall would be nice...

A good allround performance, and two great goals, the first a beautiful cross for Yussuf to head home, the second a piledriver from Dales at an angle from the keeper's left 6 or 7 yards out.

Witton were no pushover, their defence was well marshalled and they played a long ball game presumably intending to neutralise our midfield, although our back line held firm and dealt with everything reasonably easily. Their keeper made two or three good saves in the second half but our fitness and pressure paid off in the last 15 or 20 minutes when they made some last ditch interventions before Dales finally put the game to bed.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. A well organised and very pleasant trip, coupled with a pleasing result and most welcoming hosts. They had run out of pies so they 'GAVE' me a bap loaded with beef which was nearly as good as Liam's very welcome goal.
