Congratulations to Max
Our young keeper from last season, Max O'Leary, made his Bristol City debut away at Brentford today and starred in a 1_0 win to earn a special mention from his manager on the Championship goals programme on T.V.

Re: Congratulations to Max
Well done Max! He played an absolutely vital part in our survival last season and you just knew from his consistently calm and assured performances that he was destined for great things.

Re: Congratulations to Max
Having Max in our goal last season, was one of the biggest factors that we managed to stay in the,National League last season so it is great to hear he made his debut in the football league for Bristol City yesterday.

Re: Congratulations to Max
He made a great save in the first minute. Nothing quite so good in the rest of the game as Hull were quite poor.
But the best part was his distribution. Apart from one mistake, all his goalkicks, throws and punches went to one if his own team. Which is quite rare for recent City keepers. He already has the crowd on his side - and most of them have only seen him once.
And a really nice chap too.

Re: Congratulations to Max
There was a good piece in The Sun after the Brentford game where Max said he had a great time with the Moors and had learned a lot from Tim Flowers.
