We should expect Wrexham ......

Given we have no league match until Saturday 2nd March, unfortunately we have to expect Wrexham to overtake us at the top of the league table.

Simply this, Wrexham are currently two points behind us but have a game in hand. But they are away at Boreham Wood on Tuesday and away at Gateshead on Saturday.

They only have to get one win from those two matches to go ahead of us, although we will then have a game in hand over them.

Should Wrexham happen to draw both of those two games, then we would still be top, on goal difference.

Other teams? Leyton Orient, like us, they do not have a league match until Saturday 2nd Match, thus it follows they will be three points behind us at the proverbial 2.59. pm on 2nd March.

The 4th and 5th teams, Fylde and Salford, are currently both seven points behind us, and they both only have one league match before 2nd March.

In short, it is only Wrexham that can possibly overtake us in the league table, but let's hope they don't.

I can't see Wrexham lasting the distance they come over as a weak team, they have the new manager bounce at the moment but i expect them to drop off, there is too much pressure and expectation on them from the fans just like the villa

Shush !!
No more talk of this!
We should adopt the Ranieri/Leicester City
approach :- one game at a time, and NO mention of that possibility.

Not sure what point this post is making beyond explaining some basic arithmetic.

It's not as if we can make any meaningful predictions based on yesterday's results for Moors/Orient/Fylde/Salford - 4 ostensible home bankers yielding a single point.

So after Boreham Wood 0-2 Wrexham last night, Wrexham go top.

Let's hope they do not increase their lead in the league table, away at Gateshead. That should be a much tougher match for them than they faced last night.

Wrexham are historically a proper football club. Not a rich man's plaything, we are a club owned by the fans. You have a team of giant violent thugs beating their way through teams. You play in a shithouse ground and have hardly no support. The only good thing about you is your manager Tim Flowers, a legend at Rovers. He'll leave as soon as you fail to go up.
