Re: Scottish Cup....
Last season Sutton United completed in the Irn-Bru Cup. I have just been looking when their Irn-Bro Cup fixtures were.
On 8th September they were away at AIRDRIEONIANS, and won 1-0.
On 13th October, in the next round, they were away at BOHEMIANS, yes in Dublin. They lost that match on penalties, so there ended their Irn-Bru Cup adventure.
Whether dates close to 8th September and 13th October will apply in the 2019-2020 season remains to be seen.
Last season there were travel subsidies available, £10000 if there was the need to cross the Irish Sea, and £3500 if there was a round trip exceeding 500 miles. So Sutton United would have got £3500 for the visit to AIRDRIEONIANS, and £10000 for the visit to BOHEMIANS, towards travel costs.

Re: Scottish Cup....
Boreham Wood played in it last year too. Losing in their first game on penalties. I forget who against though, but it was a home game.

Have you got a link to this story?
Psycho - Boreham Wood lost at home to Dunfermline.
I think it will be great for us to play in this competition. Yes the travelling can be a nightmare, but lets embrace it

Re: Scottish Cup....
How Connah’s Quay & New Saints could meet Wrexham in Scottish competition

After Salford City’s promotion to the Football League, Wrexham were confirmed as participants in next season’s Irn-Bru Cup.
Wrexham, who lost to Eastleigh in the Eastleigh in the playoffs, finished the season in fourth, which would see them qualify for the Scottish competition. They will be joined by Solihull Moors who finished second, but lost in the playoffs to losing finalists AFC Fylde.
As of last year, the highest ranked non-promoted sides in the National League earn a spot in the Scottish Challenge Cup.
The Welsh Premier League have been in the competition for the last three seasons. The New Saints who won the Welsh Premier League qualified alongside runners up Connah’s Quay.
Connah’s Quay became the first non-Scottish side to reach the Challenge Cup final this season. They lost to Ross County, who won the Scottish Championship also.
Should the SPFL continue to offer entry to English non-league, League of Ireland, Northern Premiership and Welsh Premier League sides, then there is a possibility we could see Wrexham take on either Connah’s Quay or The New Saints next season.
In Connah’s Quay’s route to the final, they faced Northern Irish side Coleraine in Round Three, beating them 2-0.
Wrexham this season played Newport County in the English FA Cup, losing 4-0 in a Second Round replay, following a goalless draw at the Racecourse Ground.
Their last appearance in a FAW governed competition was in 2011 when they lost to Airbus UK Broughton in Round Three of the JD Welsh Cup.
