I always used to think that solihull borough had just changed their name. There were changes tho, Joe Clarke defo played, maybe even debut..... .nondisclosed_email@example.com (Mr SoliMoors)Sun, 10 May 2020 21:33:07 +0000 Re: Solihull Borough's last ever team line uphttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52870,from=rss#post52870https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52870,from=rss#post52870Disappointingly, I didn't note down the team changes in the programme as I usually would but listed were 1 Tony Breeden 2 Gary Moran 3 Steven Ruck 4 Phil Rowe 5 Mark Turner 6 Gareth Alborough 7 Jerome Grandison 8 Jack Byrne 9 Rory May 10 Danny Collins 11 Lawrence Rawlings 12 Jaime Petty 14 Tom Griffin 15 Richard Adams 16 Richard McCausland 17 Nick Mowl with Micky Moore manager and Duncan Riddle assistant and played on 28th April 2007. And re reading the programme I was surprised to see that Leamington were only just about to be promoted to the Southern League Midland division from the Midland Alliance. Like us they've come quite a way. Anyway, a final good day as Solihull Borough was had by all following a 4-2 win.nondisclosed_email@example.com (derek12)Sun, 10 May 2020 20:39:08 +0000 Re: Solihull Borough's last ever team line uphttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52867,from=rss#post52867https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52867,from=rss#post52867I have the programme in the front room and will sort it out. I recall it being a great day out with Maxine and I accompanying Colin Brown in his car - a pub in the Good Beer Guide by the canal before the game and a visit to the ruins of Berkhamsted Castle. I recall Toby Joyce offering full back Gary Moran £10 if he scored and he did all but in the 4-2 win. It was quite a party atmosphere!nondisclosed_email@example.com (derek12)Sun, 10 May 2020 15:17:23 +0000 Re: Solihull Borough's last ever team line uphttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52851,from=rss#post52851https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52851,from=rss#post52851The whole merger process is quite interesting to me, I never followed either club before apart from looking for the Boro results on Ceefax. There were talks of each club merging with different clubs and When this sort of topic comes up I often think what would have happened if Things hadn’t have panned put they way they did. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Psycho Mouse)Sat, 09 May 2020 19:23:21 +0000 Re: Solihull Borough's last ever team line uphttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52846,from=rss#post52846https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52846,from=rss#post52846Interesting to note that Leamington were one of the teams to replace Boro the following season. Leamington was one of the clubs that some people who were against the merger went to follow in protest. Interesting how the histories of Moors and Leamington have been so intertwined over the past thirteen years. I wonder how many Leamington fans would have predicted that one of the two clubs would be challenging for promotion to the Football League just over a decade later, and that it wouldn't be them!nondisclosed_email@example.com (M00R5)Sat, 09 May 2020 15:47:11 +0000 Re: Solihull Borough's last ever team line uphttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52842,from=rss#post52842https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52842,from=rss#post52842I never did see Solihull Borough, nor Moor Green. I started to watch Solihull Moors a year or two after the merger. But fascinating to read some history. See :- http://www.fchd.info/lghist/south2007.htm -: and see that Solihull Borough finished in 14th place in their final-ever season, in Southern League Division One Midlands. Interesting to see the other clubs in that division.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jline)Sat, 09 May 2020 09:04:50 +0000 Re: Solihull Borough's last ever team line uphttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52839,from=rss#post52839https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p52839,from=rss#post52839How's the memory test going Mr Solimoors?
