thought we might have expected a little good news from the top before now...any incomings (or rumours)
summer can get quite quiet....

No news? We have acquired a whole U16 team from Bromsgrove. Maybe that is our first team for 2011-2012?

I spoke to Micky Moore last night and can confirm that a list of players that are staying will be announced on the club website within the next seven days. Also being announced will be the names of one or two new signings.

From the club website today :-

Andre Francis joins Solihull having spent two years at Stafford Rangers. 26 year old Andre is equally comfortable in a wing back or wide midfield position. Also joining Solihull is Mitch Fellows from WIllenhall Town. Mitch caught the eye of Solihull during last season when he scored 31 goals for the Midland Football Alliance outfit,making him the highest scorer in the division. Despite interest from other clubs, Mitch has decided to join Solihull.
We wish both plays a successful stay with Solihull. An update on which players have agreed to stay from last season's squad will be mentioned later in the week.

That was posted 8 days ago, so I have to ask, where is the player news? In particular, what players are staying? Who has been released?

Micky Moore also confirmed that offers have made to a number of other players from last season's squad and that talks are continuing. As well as bringing in Mitch Fellows and Andre Francis, Moore is also talking to possible new additions to the playing staff.
