Any tips for a first timer?
Tomorrow against Wrexham is my first Solihull Moors game, me and my dad are both making the journey to Damson Park and despite my dad not being a big fan of the team (doesn't follow non league football but is interested from what i've told him about the team) i've followed the team for around 4 years but i've finally been able to find time for myself to go to a game, what would you guys recommend i do there, i intend in buying a kit while i'm there.

Go to the club shop to buy your kit and any other stuff you you might like to acquire.

You can go to the club shop on the left as you enter the ground. Otherwise head to the mens' toilets and an overweight bald man will talk to you about bread. Ignore a different overweight bald man if he is accompanied by a young blond-haired boy.

Re: Any tips for a first timer?
Avoid a smallish welshman called Martyr at all costs who is usually found close to the gents' stand; We want you to enjoy your visit and return another day. He will be dressed in a style best described as "Unshaven Charity Shop Clearance Sale", so this might help you distinguish him from the northern welsh today.
There are two very good food options on sale; the burger van (one of the best you will find at any football ground), and the equally acclaimed pie and chips bar from outside the clubhouse.
Ojiveojive will insist you buy a 50:50 ticket as you enter the ground and this is an opportunity you should not miss, but if you do, Statto will be coming around during the first half to sell you another. tickets £1 each.
Parking is likely to be tight. £2 to park in the ground's scale model of a WW1 battlefield c/w bomb craters, but there are some street parking areas for late-comers.
Moors will most likely kick up hill during the second half and a good atmosphere can be enjoyed behind the goal.
The recently added stand at the shallow end is also a good option in the first half. There won't be segregation so moving from one end to the other is fine.
Enjoy the match.

Don't apply for any jobs as a travel agent or event marketing Joel. Hope Kiertan doesn't take you too seriously and decide not to bother. We need all the fans that we can get and he would probably miss a really good game.

Surely the new stand has been added at the deep end.
During times of flood the water has certainly been deeper in the away dugout.

Re: Any tips for a first timer?
At all costs, avoid a dishevelled aged hippy a few yards from the Toilet Gang (they refuse to let him join). Should you be unfortunate enough to engage in conversation with the decrepit gangee, avoid any reference to pottery, Teaching (those that can, do...) and Brriiiisstttooollll. Hopefully his carer will be there to protect you - its the only brief peace his saintly Welsh wife gets when 'old Crusty' is out of the house.
To put the record straight: I will be, as ever, resplendent in my Merthyr polo top and fleece, along with fashionable ripped jeans and stylish trainers!

Re: Any tips for a first timer?
Sorry, forgot to add there is another aged hippy on entry flogging tickets. Do ask him how his WELSH family are!
