Re: Brodie
I don't think Brodie was ever in Moneys plans, I'm pretty sure they've had fallings out in the past at previous clubs.
Loan players sent back as the manager wants players with more experience but also players that play for the Moors and not themselves. Campbell came here with the intention of scoring lots of goals for himself, hence why he wouldn't pass in good situations.

Re: Brodie
How do you make that assumption that Asante was no good on Tuesday, because he did not score a goal.
I completely agree with MOOR5. Its all about movement off the ball which has created space for one of the other two to score the goals.
If you look at the highlights which are available on another thread, you'll see that:
(1) our first goal comes from a goal kick which bounces off a defender for Hylton to run through and score;
(2) our second goal comes from a break down the left involving Hylton and Dapo with Asante nowhere to be seen;
(3) various other highlights with shots/near misses etc. from Hylton and Dapo. But none involving Asante.
(4) no movement off the ball by Asante. Or anything much else by Asante.
And none of this is a surprise because it is exactly what happened in real life at the match. I haven't made any assumption.

I apologise I did not realise that you had seen the highlights of the match which was about 5 minutes long and from that formed the opinion that ASANTE is no good. What about the other 85 minutes of the game or does that not matter.
Are you aware that Asante is used to defend corners free kicks etc, so points 1,2 you would not see him on the counter attack because he would have been defending.
Anyway you are entitled to your opinion.
Not going to get embroiled in a meaningless debate with you.

All of the mixlr commentary is automatically saved to the hard drive of whoever is doing it. If I could bear listening to myself back for 45 minutes, let alone 90, I'd be able to tell you how many times I picked up on Asante's movement or ball winning high up the pitch in the first half alone.
The reason we had so many chances on the break came down to the effectiveness of the front 3 as a whole in putting pressure on the home defence, winning challenges high up the pitch, and latching on to each and every mistake made.
Even if you don't think Asante played as well as the other two, it's totally unwarranted to single him out for criticism in what was a good performance by the forwards as a unit, and a good team performance from the starting XI on the whole.

Re: Brodie
Sorry Bristol mate, but I have to agree with MOOR5 on this one.
Also, Brodie did his very best to lose us the game on Tuesday.
Like it or not, we're going to have to use the loan market as our budget is still small, but players like Campbell aren't for us. The amount of times he could have set someone up but did too much cos he wanted to tell the Albion he scoring goals.

Re: Brodie
Looks like people here have their favourite player that should not be singled out for criticism.
Was OK to single out Dapo when he was recovering from injury and all the talk that he was not good enough.
Now that Asante is 75% fit and people airing their opinion, it is a sin.
Guys, football is full of opinions and in most cases wrong opinions are formed of players. Good examples are the kids released by Chelsea, one got Arsenal out of !@#$ on Tuesday and the other got in England into U17 finals.
Also, Wenger did not fancy Ibra and Ronaldo look where they are today.
Anyway, let us not use the forum to slate players but individual opinions should be respected as long as it does not cross any line.
