Moors V Maidenhead
Some of the worst away supporters of the season, defenatley the worst team for rolling around on the floor and getting in the refs ear, and definitely the worst referee of the season. A great result enough said
Come on you Moors

Re: Moors V Maidenhead
Two stupid red cards, great comeback by Moors they must of been one of the worse sides seen at Moors this season bar Orient, they were time wasting straight from the kick off and going down for any kind of challenge.
It's amazing what we can do when the ball is played to feet and not hoofed, Hylton once again excellent Mr Quickfeet.
Well deserved victory in the end.

Re: Moors V Maidenhead
Excellent result today. Good to be in 21st place in the table, rather than 24th, albeit possibly helped by the postponement of the match at Torquay because of a waterlogged pitch.
Saturday's match away at Macclesfield will be a much sterner test.

Re: Moors V Maidenhead
It’s nice to see that we can play without Ozzy. Shocking refereeing, anti-football from Maidenhead, but I thought that’s the best we’ve played this season in the 2nd half.
Thomas won everything in the air upfront, enough to earn him my MOTM nomination, Carter never put a foot wrong and a cracking strike to boot.
The tide is turning. Believe.

Re: Moors V Maidenhead
A couple of good festive wins. Our aim by end of Jan should now be getting enough points to be in and around those half a dozen clubs above us, that will then make the relegation field wide open.
If Yates and Flowers can pull this great escape off, they deserve the freedom of Solihull and a couple of statues in the middle of Touchwood.

Re: Moors V Maidenhead
Don't think either side can argue with either of the reds, truth be told. The real problem with the referee is that he'd completely lost control of the game at that point, having had a poor first half. He wasn't helped by the gutless refereeing at Maidenhead, where Jamey was kicked around for 90 minutes with zero protection. Hardly surprising then that he lost his head after clocking one in the face 45 minutes into this match.
Really impressed with the resolve the team showed to come back today. They looked like they wanted to prove a point; they knew that they deserved more on Boxing Day and definitely were the better team today. Hylton was my MotM but all the players mentioned above were excellent. Carter, Murombedzi and Thomas all had too much for Maidenhead, and Dapo took his goals very well. Someone needs to sit Liam Daly down and explain to him that he needs to cut out this long passing. His distribution is !@#$ at best, and often puts us back under pressure from giving the ball away too easily.

Re: Moors V Maidenhead
Really big performance yesterday. Thought we looked like winning from the off, and overall the best team performance I have witnessed this season.
I agree with MOOR5 that Hilton was the MotM. Green and Reckford played well, But some great shows all around. With Osbourne we looked like we could unlock defences and without him some grit and spirit as well as skill. Running at the defenders and runs into space caused them all sorts of problems.
If we can keep up these displays and hang onto Jamie Osbourne as long as possible we can do this!

Re: Moors V Maidenhead
The red card after a second yellow, Osbourne suspended for one game.
But for which one game?
