Could be a slight deja vu with that Blyth trip!
Not Statto and Gurd getting caught in a blizzard on the A1 in 2012.
Gurd at an away game. Wow. What happened
He used to go a lot more often when there was no chance of bumping into you

2012 was my first away game aswell. Wba in the senior cup final. Been following the club since the day before blues beat arsenal in the final.

Re: Away to Gateshead
Aye, that was only a few weeks later. I was off uni for Easter (I guess I was probably off already by the time of the Blyth game, but maybe still working on some stuff), and Gurd and Steve took the afternoon off work and we had a few beers before jumping on the train at Snow Hill. That was funny; all those Moors fans on a packed commuter train panicking all the other passengers.
I had warm focaccia bread at the OCs, which turned out just to be bread with olive oil, and we ended up getting a taxi home with H at about half 1. Gurd and H were trying to convince the driver to drive them to Harrogate for the next away game.
We dropped H outside his house, perfectly fine, and at Harrogate he was sporting a black eye. He'd managed to walk into a lamppost between the path in front of his house and his front door.

Re: Away to Gateshead
Focaccio eaters are pretty frightening whether on or off trains.
