Moors v Maidstone on Tuesday

With Moors playing Maidstone on Tuesday evening, a win would mean we would go above them in the league table.

That is, we would then both be on 47 points, but we would be above them on goal difference.

That would be a good target to aim for. If they don't I might be accused of using foul and abusive language to players who get themselves sent off.

Tough game on Tuesday, all the team have been good late including the players on the bench playing their part lets give them our support and help the great escape happen.

Also, if Woking fail to beat Maidenhead, a victory on Tuesday would see us leapfrog them too.

Barrow! A point about Barrow is that only three or four games ago Barrow's goal difference was significantly better than Moors' goal difference.

But now they are both on -12. Not only have Barrow been losing but they have been losing by a noticeable margin, for example 4-1 on Saturday.

So should Moors win tomorrow, and Barrow fail to win, not only would we go above them on points, but also we would have a better goal difference, which might come in handy at the end of the season.

We’re already 3 points above Barrow?

A few months ago this would have been a far more appealing match for the Stones ! But now they are struggling for points, even goals, following the departure of Joe Pigott and Zavon Hines after Xmas. If they survive this season, a complete overhaul will be required in the summer. Interestingly, the slump started with the home game against the Moors. After that they went 17 games without a win.
Win, lose or draw, however, the Stones fans will still make plenty of good-tempered noise !

Tandy will be making some bad-tempered noise if we lose.

Yes, correct, but Barrow do have a game in hand, so getting a better goal difference than Barrow could be very useful.

They had 3 in hand, but are now 3 points behind rather than ahead so games in hand mean nothing.
