Becalm the Raging Sea


For my first game I arrived from Tyseley, to see The Moors beat a stranded Guiseley.
 
I heard some cheer, I heard some cry, all those bitter sweet tears to dry.

Now no more will the Sirens take flight, for The Moors, no rocks remain in sight.

Still reckon the greatest pose in poetry...
He's fat, he's round, you bounce him on the ground...!

There was also a classic about the flasher of Wimbledon common, which probably would not survive in today's pc world!!
