And finally – anyone know the 50/50 result please? (and Griff/Statto - please remind me I owe £1!).
For me, I am glad we lost as it acts as a wake up call and a reminder that we are not (yet) world beaters.
Upsetting to read statto. Whilst its only a friendly i would never say that i was glad we lost with any of my teams i follow.

I never wish for my team to lose, but if losing a friendly can highlight some of the areas we can improve on then I am willing to take the defeat.

That should of been tamworth evesham blues u23s. Not yesterday. I was quite annoyed we lost yesterday. Maybe i am wrong but your last pre season friendly you should go out to win imo.

Re: Solihull 0-3 Kidderminster
A bad day at the office for most of the starting 11. Never really looked like scoring (apart from a couple of decent saves by the Harriers keeper) which was a surprise given the rich vein of goal scoring form during the previous games. Clumsy in defence too, gifted them 2 of their goals.
Fair play to Kidderminster though, they looked well organised, spread the ball wide very well and always looked threatening on the counter-attack.
Was the PA announcer the guy who retired at the end of last season (can't remember his name)? Or just a sound-a-like?
