Oh, is that what that weird ruckus was outside? I've not been watching the news.

Maybe rather than hanging out of windows clapping and banging pans, people could put pressure on the government to start mandatory corona tests for key workers? Ridiculous situation at the moment where I know of medics sitting on their backsides at home for 14 days because someone in their family has symptoms, when what they want to be doing is getting out and doing their jobs. If we were actually testing, we'd have a much better idea who to keep home and who is safe to keep saving lives.

Yep this countries government is a complete and utter shambles of a joke.

The sooner this is all over the better.

And when it is all over their should be an investigation into the way the Government has handled this.

I did think it was weird that there was 20 households giving me a massive round of applause just for putting my wheelie bin out.

Depends how full it was, to be fair. People are starved of sports at the moment so might go applause crazy for someone moving a heavy bin around quickly.

Contrary to the fake news we had on here earlier, this is a positive development, mind. Could help keep the NHS staffed through the worst of it, and make it easier for key institutions like schools, surgeries, etc. to steadily reopen as self-testing is phased in.
