I emailed the club and asked if they will be issuing physical season tickets like last season and they said they would be issuing similar tickets later in the year when they know when the season will begin. In the meantime, until you receive your physical ticket, you can use your downloaded or printed off ticket.

Great minds think alike. I too had emailed them and got a similar answer.

If I buy 1 am I guaranteed to be able to attend every game with the reduced capacity crowds?

The government need to let people know how it is going to work.

Imo it's pointless buying a season ticket if I'm not guaranteed to be able to attend every game that supporters are allowed to go to.

Assuming they charge around £16 for a regular match day ticket, you'd only need to go to 7 games for a Season Ticket to pay for itself. Even if there is reduced capacity, I'd be very surprised if it wasn't possible to attend at least 7 out of 23 home games next season.

In terms of playing football in front of a reduced crowd, I read something along the lines of the maximum number of spectators being a percentage of the stadium's capacity. For Moors, this would have little impact on attendance as the average attendance is well below the stadium capacity. If you stop away supporters from attending as well (especially from the bigger clubs who bring a large away following) it gives even more headroom for home supporters to attend.

One factor that might inflate attendance at Moors is if the larger local clubs have to restrict numbers, meaning there are more Blues/Villa/Baggies fans looking for a football fix and pop along to Moors to watch a game. That's where the electronic ticketing system helps - make it compulsory to pre-purchase a ticket and cap the numbers that way. Account for ST holders when determining how many tickets to make available for general sale to guarantee that all ST holders can get in to the game.

I expect that some parts of the stadium will not be able to open up - the main bar, perhaps the club shop, maybe even the toilets!

Our ground as a capacity of 4-5,000, so once fans are allowed to attend and if limits are imposed for social distancing I would guess that season ticket holders will get priority and as we are looking to sell 500 season tickets I personally can't see any issues about getting in if you have one.

Perhaps they'll allow some supporters to watch games from unused corporate boxes to support social distancing... like a free upgrade to business class! emoticon

On the other hand, they might have to limit the number of people in each corporate box and spread them out across multiple boxes.
