Aldershot Away Rearranged

Our away game at Aldershot has been rearranged for Tuesday 16 February 2021 which means we have a run of games on seven successive Tuesdays across January/February. It also means that stretching into March we are playing on nine out of ten Tuesdays.

Looking at the fixtures in February we have six away games which will see us travel over 1800 miles.

Don't think I'll be travelling over 1800 miles unless they start letting away fans in sooner than I expect them to

Given the weather across January and February it is almost inevitable that some of those matches will get (further) postponed, leading to fixture pressure in March and later.

I've said it before, we will do very well not to find ourselves having to play Tue/Thur by late spring. The clubs that have better luck in terms of postponements will have a big edge in the promotion/playoff race. Sutton will certainly expect to be less affected than most given their artificial pitch.
