Not hattrick-related. I will offer a clue - this feat has also been achieved in a different competition by Andreas Brehme.
Well, I know that Brehme has scored penalties in World Cups with different feet, so I'll guess that the other two have done the same in the Premier League?

Well I think it was Charlie Aitken who score twice, both for villa and against them in the same match. 4 goals in a 2-2 draw.
That was Chris Nicholl, was it not?
Yes, it was future Walsall manager Chris Nichols who scored all four goals in a 2-2 draw between Aston Villa and Leicester City.

Congrats, spot on. You win an imaginary speedboat but also, more importantly, the right to pose a teaser of your own.

Re: Football Quiz
OK, don't know many quiz questions, but here is one that I was asked recently in a lockdown online quiz:
Who were the first team to lose a premier league match after being 3-0 up? With a bonus point if you know who beat them.
(I guessed Tottenham 3 United 5 and was wrong)

Re: Football Quiz
Oooh good one. I instantly thought of Reading 5-7 Arsenal and Tottenham 3-4 Man City but I think they were both cup games.

But not the first time it happened so I'm afraid you'll have to think again

Re: Football Quiz
Arsenal to Newcastle?
I remember the result and I remember an Arsenal-supporting mate laying all the blame on Squillaci.

Re: Football Quiz
Arsenal may have been the first team in the Premier League not to win a match when 4-0 as they drew 4-4 with Newcastle .
The Spurs v Man United game would have been around 2001, so before the Leicester v Wolves match.
I don’t know the actual answer but just trying to narrow down the dates. I know there was two 4-3 games between Liverpool and Newcastle but don’t think Newcastle led 3-0 in either game.

Re: Football Quiz
Was it Villa v Leicester in about ‘96, not long after Brian Little took over? Seem to remember watching it on TV, Midweek game.
